Material
- 1/4 cup flour
- A pinch of baking soda
- 1/2 cup sugar
- Cardamom powder
- Oil for frying
- 250 g mawa/ khawa
method
Take flour in a bowl and mix it well with baking soda, cardamom powder
Mix the dough in one bowl with a lid and let it rest for about 20 to 25 minutes
Take sugar in a pan and add water. Keep the heat on medium flame till all the sugar dissolves
Once the sugar has dissolved
Boil the syrup for 5 to 10 minutes, mix well and switch off the flame.
While making the gulab jamun balls, heat some oil in a pan, then fry the prepared gulab jamuns in the oil, fry the gulab jamuns till they turn a little brown.
Then take it out of gulab jamun oil and put it in hot sugar syrup and keep it for 30 minutes
Tips
Gulab Jamun should always be fried on low gas
